In additional to the key features listed above, the Vilano also has numerous other welcome advantages:

The furnace is located between the galley and the living room and NOT on the bedroom wall. It's a quieter appliance anyhow, but with the Vilano's location, it is silent during the night when it kicks on, unlike the roar in the Avalanche.

The dining table is slightly larger and much less cramped. The table surface is corian like the counters, and much more durable than the wood finish in the Avalanche.

The Furrion fireplace in the Vilano works much better than the one in the Avalanche. The thermostat does a much better job of keeping the temperature constant in the living room.

The Avalanche had big problems with electrical circuits... there were only two primary circuits for all the 110 wall outlets in the whole coach and both were 15 AMP circuits. Caused us lots of headaches. The Vilano has multiple circuits and they are all 20 amp. We have no electrical problems any longer.

The 50 amp main power cable is on a retractable reel in the Vilano, making for nice neat storage when plugged into shore power.

Not only do we have a full hanging closet with sliding doors in the bedroom, there is a large full size highboy dresser in the bedroom plus many other cabinets.

The bedroom has an OEM ultra comfortable Memory Foam king size bed.

The Vilano has a gorgeous 55" LED TV, even larger than the one in the Avalanche. The living room cabinetry is arranged like a full wall unit into which the big TV and the fireplace are inset. There are nice cabinets for componentry with glass doors to hide all the electronics for a very neat, professional appearance.

An extra window in the living room makes it nice and light and bright. All the windows are framed with nice matching woodwork like the cabinets, and all the MCD shades are a very pleasant putty color, rather than the stark white of the Avalanche. The entry door also has a builtin shade.

The control panel touchpad for all coach systems is conveniently located right by the entry door, and it stays lit up all the time, unless you turn its panel light off.

Multi light control switches abound throughout the coach in each room.

The living room has builtin drink holders by the one sofa and by my recliner. The one by the recliner is built in a very handy little wood side table, perfect for setting down remotes, food etc.

The Avalanche had a nice exterior color scheme, but the sides of each slide were black and absorbed a lot of heat. And the Avalanche was not that well insulated. The Vilano has better insulation and the sides of the slides are the same cream color as the rest of the coach and stay much cooler than the Avalanche in the direct sun.

The Vilano living room stairway has a thoughtfully placed railing on the wall to aid in going up and down the stairs.

The Vilano has elegant indirect 'accent lighting' option in the kitchen. Mood lighting.

All in all this trade was one we could not resist... To see our 2018 Vanleigh Vilano 375FL, please visit this webpage with 20 large photos of the Vilano inside and out:
